LensMatch

LensMatch is a desktop + mobile companion for cinematographers and DITs that helps keep visual continuity when production gets messy. You ingest stills or short clips from camera cards or on-set monitors, and the app extracts objective image metrics (exposure, color temperature/tint, contrast curve, saturation, skin-tone balance) plus lens metadata when available. It then compares today’s setup against a chosen reference shot and generates a simple “match report” with suggested camera/monitor adjustments and a LUT starting point. This is not magic: it won’t replace a colorist, and it can’t fix bad lighting. But it can quickly flag when a pickup shot is drifting, when mixed lighting is contaminating skin, or when a second unit camera is off. Export reports as PDF/CSV for the camera report and post.
