LensSimLab

LensSimLab is a web app (with optional desktop wrapper) for students and researchers who need quick, credible gravitational lensing simulations for coursework, proposals, and figure drafts. Users pick a lens model (SIS, SIE, NFW), set source position/shape, and instantly generate image configurations, magnification maps, time delays, and caustics/critical curves. It exports publication-ready plots (vector PDF/SVG) plus a reproducible parameter “run card” for sharing. It’s not a full research pipeline replacement; it’s a fast sandbox that reduces the friction of getting from idea to sanity-check. An AI assistant (optional) helps translate plain-English goals (“make a quad with high flux ratio”) into parameter suggestions and warns when settings are unphysical or numerically unstable. Pricing is realistic: freemium for education, paid for teams needing collaboration and private projects.
