LessLedger

LessLedger is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps people practice financial minimalism by cutting recurring “life clutter” spending: subscriptions, impulse purchases, and duplicate services. Instead of another budget tracker, it focuses on decisions: what to cancel, what to keep, and what to replace with cheaper, simpler alternatives. Users connect bank accounts, then the app identifies recurring charges, flags “rarely used” merchants, and prompts a monthly 15-minute declutter session. It generates a simple “Keep / Cancel / Replace” plan, tracks savings realized, and creates a one-page minimalist spending rule-set (e.g., one streaming service at a time, 48-hour wait for non-essentials). The AI component is limited to categorizing merchants, drafting personalized rules, and suggesting substitutions; the core value is workflow and accountability, not chatbots.
