LessLedger

LessLedger is a mobile + web app that helps people simplify finances by aggressively reducing recurring expenses and “financial clutter.” It connects to your bank via secure open-banking, detects subscriptions and repeating charges, and forces a minimalist decision: keep, pause, downgrade, or cancel. The app doesn’t pretend to be a full budgeting suite; it’s a focused cancellation and simplification workflow with a monthly “Clean Slate” review. It highlights the top 10 recurring drains, flags price hikes, and suggests cheaper alternatives (e.g., switch plans, annual vs monthly, bundle vs standalone). It also tracks a single metric: recurring spend per month and how many active subscriptions you have. The product wins by being opinionated and fast: fewer charts, more action. Optional AI helps categorize merchants and draft cancellation emails, but the core value works without it.
