LexiWelfare

LexiWelfare is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy, scattered animal welfare legislation into a searchable, comparable, and update-tracked library. It focuses on practical compliance and advocacy workflows: jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction summaries, effective dates, penalties, enforcement agencies, and plain-language “what changed” notes. Users can set alerts for specific topics (e.g., puppy mills, transport, slaughter, research animals) and generate a shareable “policy brief” page for a city council meeting or internal compliance review. An AI layer helps draft summaries and highlight differences between jurisdictions, but every output is linked back to the source text and version history. Realistically, the product lives or dies on data freshness and trust, so it prioritizes citations, audit trails, and human review tools over flashy chat features.
