LexLocale

LexLocale is a web app with optional mobile companion that helps compliance and legal teams translate international law and cross-border regulations into a practical obligations checklist tied to specific countries, products, and business activities. Users select jurisdictions, industry, and transaction types (e.g., exporting dual-use goods, cross-border data transfers, humanitarian shipments). The app generates a structured “obligations map” with required filings, licensing triggers, recordkeeping, and red-flag scenarios, plus a plain-language rationale and links to primary sources. It also tracks changes and creates internal tasks with owners and deadlines. This is an AI-assisted app, but it’s not a magic lawyer: it emphasizes citations, uncertainty flags, and human review workflows. The goal is reducing time wasted on scattered PDFs, outdated memos, and inconsistent interpretations across regions.
