LienLens is a mobile + web app that helps private-party car buyers and sellers reduce title and registration surprises by running a “pre-transfer checklist” tied to a specific VIN and state. Users upload photos of the title, bill of sale, and ID; the app flags common red flags (missing signatures, odometer disclosure errors, salvage/brand mismatch, lienholder fields not released) and generates a state-specific step-by-step transfer packet. It also tracks deadlines (temporary tags, emissions, insurance proof) and stores a clean audit trail for both parties. This is not magic: it won’t replace a DMV or guarantee a clean title. But it can prevent the most frequent, expensive mistakes that cause rejected paperwork, wasted trips, and deals falling apart. Revenue comes from per-transaction packs and optional expedited notary/partner services where available.
