LimitLedger

LimitLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns vague “risk appetite statements” into concrete, trackable limits tied to real decisions. Teams define a small set of appetite metrics (e.g., max monthly cash burn variance, acceptable churn band, incident tolerance, regulatory exposure) and map them to decision types (pricing changes, vendor onboarding, product launches, hiring). The app then runs lightweight checklists and scenario prompts before approvals, logs the decision rationale, and tracks whether outcomes stayed within appetite. It produces a simple “appetite drift” dashboard and quarterly review pack for leadership and boards. This is not a full GRC suite; it’s intentionally narrow so it can be adopted without a six-month implementation. The AI component helps draft appetite metrics, convert policy language into limits, and summarize decision logs into board-ready narratives, but users keep final control.
