LineageKit is a mobile + web app that helps families capture and preserve practical legacy assets: values, lessons learned, origin stories, recipes with context, traditions, and “what I wish I knew” notes—then package them into a structured, searchable family playbook. Instead of endless video uploads, it guides members through short prompts and templates (e.g., “How we handle conflict,” “Money rules,” “Health history,” “Family milestones”). A lightweight AI layer can transcribe audio, summarize long entries, and suggest missing sections, but the core value is organization and permissions. Families can assign “legacy stewards,” set visibility by branch, and export a clean PDF/ZIP archive for safekeeping. Monetization is subscription per family with optional one-time “archive export” and printed book partner integration. Realistically, growth depends on trust, simplicity, and making it easy for older relatives to contribute.
