LineageLens

LineageLens is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that maps end-to-end data lineage for analytics teams without forcing a full platform migration. Connect your warehouse (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift), BI (Looker/Tableau/Power BI), and transformation layer (dbt) to automatically generate a searchable graph: tables, models, dashboards, and the people who own them. When a metric changes or a pipeline breaks, LineageLens highlights downstream impact, shows the exact SQL/dbt model responsible, and suggests the most likely root cause based on recent deploys and query history. It also provides “trust badges” for key dashboards (freshness, test coverage, last validated) so stakeholders stop arguing about whose numbers are right. This is not a generic catalog; it’s a practical impact-analysis tool designed for day-to-day firefighting and change management.
