It connects to common sources (Snowflake/BigQuery/Postgres, Looker/Power BI/Tableau, Google Sheets) and builds a simple graph: where a metric comes from, what transforms touch it, and who owns it. The product focuses on “good enough” governance: automated extraction where possible, plus fast manual edits with audit history. It flags broken dependencies (e.g., a renamed column) and lets teams attach definitions, SLAs, and data quality notes to key fields. This is not a replacement for enterprise catalogs; it’s a pragmatic bridge for mid-market teams that are drowning in tribal knowledge and dashboard sprawl but can’t justify a 6–12 month catalog program.
