LineageLite

LineageLite is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that maps metric and dashboard lineage across your BI stack so teams stop arguing about “whose number is right.” It connects to common warehouses and BI tools, crawls semantic layers, dbt models, and dashboard definitions, then builds a searchable graph: metric → model → table → column → dashboard → owner. When a schema change, dbt run, or dashboard edit happens, it flags impacted metrics and pushes a short, human-readable impact summary to Slack/Teams. An AI assistant helps translate lineage into plain English (“Revenue is affected because orders.status changed”) and suggests owners to notify based on recent edits and repo history. The product is intentionally narrow: lineage + impact alerts + ownership, not another full BI platform. It’s built for teams that already have tools but lack trust and change visibility.
