LineLens
LineLens is a mobile + web app that helps small venues understand and reduce queues without expensive hardware. Staff scan a QR at the start and end of a customer’s wait (or customers self-scan), generating real wait-time distributions by hour, day, and staffing level. The app flags “queue risk” periods and suggests simple operational fixes (open one more register, switch to single-line, pre-batch orders) based on what historically worked at that venue. It also provides a lightweight digital ticket option for overflow days, but the core value is measurement and accountability: most places don’t actually know their real waits, so they can’t improve them. Setup takes under an hour: print QR signs, define service stations, and start tracking. It’s built for cafes, clinics, campus offices, pop-ups, and small events that can’t justify enterprise queue systems.
