LineOutageIQ is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps transmission operators and field crews pinpoint likely fault locations and prioritize patrol routes after a line trip. It ingests SCADA event logs, relay targets, fault recorder (COMTRADE) files, and weather/lightning feeds, then produces a ranked “most probable span/tower segment” with confidence scores and an evidence trail. The mobile app gives crews an offline map, suggested access points, and a checklist for documenting findings (photos, notes, GPS). The web console supports post-event review, exporting a standardized incident packet for compliance and internal reporting. This is not a full protection-engineering replacement; it’s a decision-support layer that reduces time-to-locate and improves coordination. Realistically, utilities will only adopt if it integrates cleanly with existing OT/IT and passes security review.
