LineSage is a mobile AI + traditional app for skiers and snowboarders that helps reduce “unknown unknowns” before you drop into a run. It combines resort trail maps, recent weather, avalanche bulletin summaries (where relevant), and crowd-sourced hazard notes (ice, rocks showing, thin cover, closed gates, wind-loaded pockets) into a simple “risk + conditions” view for specific trails, zones, and time windows. Users can plan a route, get alerts when conditions shift, and quickly file a one-tap report with photo, location, and severity. The app is brutally focused on practical, resort-adjacent decision support—not pretending to replace avalanche education. The MVP targets a handful of major resorts/regions with high traffic and frequent condition changes, then expands. Monetization is a low-cost subscription for advanced alerts and offline maps, with a free tier for basic viewing and reporting.
