LineTestLab
LineTestLab is a desktop app (Windows/macOS) for 2D animators who just want fast pencil tests without wrestling a full animation suite. Drop in a folder of numbered drawings (PNG/JPG), set FPS, onion-skin strength, hold frames, and export a clean MP4/GIF with burn-ins (frame number, timecode, shot name). It also auto-detects missing frames, duplicates, and numbering gaps, then suggests fixes so you don’t waste time debugging why playback stutters. Optional AI features help: auto-crop/center drawings to reduce jitter, stabilize registration using peg-hole/guide detection, and generate exposure sheets from holds. The goal is not to replace Toon Boom/TVPaint/Blender—it’s the lightweight “daily driver” utility that makes iteration faster for students, freelancers, and small studios.
