LinkLedger

LinkLedger is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) that continuously audits outbound links across your published content and alerts you when monetizable links break, redirect, lose affiliate parameters, or get swapped to lower-paying destinations. Publishers often discover months later that a partner changed URLs, a CMS update stripped tracking, or a retailer started geo-redirecting—quietly killing earnings and user trust. LinkLedger crawls your site on a schedule, compares current vs. expected link targets, validates UTM/affiliate tags, checks HTTP status and redirect chains, and estimates revenue impact using your imported affiliate/network reports. It then creates a prioritized fix list and can open auto-generated tickets for editors/devs. This is not glamorous, but it’s measurable: fewer broken links, higher conversion, and faster incident response. The MVP focuses on accuracy, low false positives, and clear “what to fix first” guidance.
