LinkProof

LinkProof is a web + mobile app that helps people create a single, verifiable “proof page” showing they control specific online accounts (GitHub, LinkedIn, X, domain, email) without exposing private data. It issues time-stamped, cryptographically signed proofs by asking users to place a short verification string in places they already control (DNS TXT record, GitHub gist, website meta tag, or email reply). The result is a shareable link and QR code that recruiters, clients, marketplaces, and communities can check instantly. This is not a magic identity replacement; it’s a practical trust layer for the messy reality of online reputation. It also includes monitoring that alerts users if a linked proof breaks (e.g., domain expires, profile changes) so they can fix it before it costs them opportunities.
