LitHold

LitHold is a web app (with lightweight mobile companion) that automates legal hold issuance, acknowledgements, reminders, and defensible audit trails for SMB and mid-market companies. It connects to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, and common HRIS to identify custodians, send hold notices, track compliance, and escalate non-responses to managers and legal. It also provides a simple matter dashboard: scope, key dates, custodian list, preservation status, and exportable reports for outside counsel. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to draft hold notices from a matter template, suggest likely custodians based on org charts and communication patterns metadata (not message content by default), and summarize compliance gaps. The product is intentionally narrow: it doesn’t try to be full eDiscovery, which is expensive and crowded. It focuses on the painful, failure-prone “first mile” of litigation readiness.
