LitPulse

LitPulse is a web + mobile app for readers who love literary fiction but hate wasting time on hype. It curates novels and short-story collections using a combination of human editorial lists and AI-assisted “taste matching” based on what you actually finished, highlighted, and re-read. Instead of generic star ratings, LitPulse focuses on craft signals (voice, structure, themes, pacing, experimentalism) and gives spoiler-free “why you might care” briefs. Readers can follow micro-curators (bookstore staff, MFA grads, critics), join small reading circles with guided prompts, and track mood/theme arcs across their reading. The app also surfaces under-read backlist titles and small-press releases that algorithms usually bury. Monetization is realistic: a $6–$10/month subscription for advanced matching, circles, and curator packs, plus affiliate revenue from book sales. This is an AI + traditional app combination.
