LitWeaver

LitWeaver is a web app (with optional browser extension) that helps interdisciplinary researchers discover and connect relevant literature across fields without drowning in keyword chaos. You paste an abstract, grant aims, or a few seed papers, and it builds a cross-discipline “concept map” of adjacent terms, methods, and canonical references that different communities use for the same idea. It then produces a ranked reading list with short, source-grounded rationales and highlights where evidence conflicts or doesn’t transfer. The app also generates a lightweight “translation layer” glossary (e.g., what ML calls X vs. what epidemiology calls X) and exports citations to Zotero/EndNote. This is an AI + traditional app: AI for semantic linking and summarization, traditional workflows for curation, saving, and collaboration. It’s aimed at reducing weeks of exploratory searching into a few focused hours.
