LoadLight

LoadLight is a web + Slack/Teams companion that helps teams prevent burnout by making workload risk visible and actionable—without turning into surveillance. Employees do a 20-second daily check-in (energy, focus, workload friction) and can optionally connect calendar + task tools for lightweight signals (meeting load, after-hours pings, context switching). The app converts this into a private “strain score” for the employee and an anonymized, team-level heatmap for managers (only shown when group size thresholds are met). It then suggests concrete interventions: meeting-free blocks, rotation of on-call/interrupt work, WIP limits, and escalation templates for unrealistic deadlines. The goal is not mindfulness content; it’s operational changes that reduce chronic overload. Expect pushback if leadership wants a vanity dashboard—this only works when the org is willing to change how work is planned.
