LoadShift
LoadShift is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps mid-size commercial buildings reduce electricity peak demand charges and carbon intensity by coordinating simple operational changes. It connects to utility interval data (Green Button where available) and common building systems (basic BMS exports, smart thermostats, EV chargers, battery systems if present). The app forecasts tomorrow’s peak windows, suggests low-disruption actions (pre-cool, stagger HVAC start, shift laundry/ventilation cycles, delay EV charging), and tracks savings against a baseline. AI is used to learn each building’s thermal response and to generate an “operator playbook” that’s realistic for staff, not theoretical. It also produces utility-ready reports for incentives and internal ESG reporting. This isn’t a magic ‘net-zero’ button—results depend on access to data and staff follow-through—but it can deliver measurable savings fast in many buildings.
