LoanLedger is a mobile + web app for microfinance field officers, cooperatives, and savings groups to record loans, repayments, and arrears without relying on constant internet. It replaces paper ledgers and messy spreadsheets with a simple borrower profile, repayment calendar, and cash-in/cash-out log that syncs when connectivity returns. The app supports group lending (joint liability), flexible repayment schedules, partial payments, and rescheduling with an audit trail. It generates borrower receipts via SMS/WhatsApp and produces portfolio-at-risk (PAR) and delinquency reports that small MFIs usually can’t calculate reliably. An AI assistant helps clean messy data (duplicate borrowers, inconsistent names), flags suspicious patterns (phantom borrowers, round-number repayments), and suggests next-best actions for collections based on past outcomes. The goal is not “disrupt banking,” but to make tiny lenders operationally competent and fraud-resistant.
