LoanRoom

LoanRoom is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for private collectors, galleries, and small museums to manage artwork and object loans end-to-end: requests, approvals, condition reports, packing/shipping, insurance certificates, and return tracking. The brutal truth: most loan workflows still live in email threads, PDFs, and Excel, which creates costly mistakes—missed insurance dates, unclear responsibility during transit, and incomplete condition documentation. LoanRoom standardizes the process with templates that match real-world registrar practices and a single timeline per object. It includes an AI assist layer that can extract key fields from incoming PDFs (loan agreements, COIs, shipping quotes) and flag missing items (e.g., no wall-to-wall coverage, no courier listed). This is not a blockchain provenance play; it’s boring operations done correctly, which is exactly what the market lacks at the mid-tier.
