LobbyLedger

LobbyLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps policy teams, journalists, and advocacy orgs quickly understand who is trying to shape tech regulation. It aggregates lobbying filings, political donations, meeting logs, and public comments across key jurisdictions, then normalizes entities (subsidiaries, trade groups, law firms) into a single influence graph. An AI layer summarizes what each actor is pushing for, flags sudden spending spikes, and maps influence activity to specific bills, agencies, and enforcement actions. Users can set alerts for companies, topics (AI safety, privacy, app stores), or committees, and export clean citations for reports. The product is intentionally narrow: it won’t “predict policy outcomes” reliably, but it will save hours of manual digging and reduce missed signals by making influence data searchable, comparable, and auditable.
