LobbyLens

LobbyLens is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that maps the influence network around a bill: sponsors, committees, lobby disclosures, campaign contributions, and public statements, then ties those signals to bill movement and vote outcomes. It focuses on “why this bill is moving” rather than just “what changed,” using entity resolution to connect messy names across filings and a timeline that shows when money, meetings, or endorsements spike relative to amendments and scheduling. The AI layer summarizes influence narratives and flags anomalies (e.g., sudden new donor clusters aligned with a late amendment). This is not a magic truth machine: it provides probabilistic links, confidence scores, and citations back to primary sources so analysts can verify. The core value is saving hours of manual cross-referencing and producing defensible, source-backed briefs for internal decision-making.
