LocalLedger

LocalLedger is a mobile + web loyalty program that lets small, local businesses band together into a shared “neighborhood rewards wallet.” Customers earn points at any participating shop (coffee, barber, bakery, gym) and redeem across the network, with clear rules set by each merchant. The hook is simplicity: QR scan to earn/redeem, instant balance, and a weekly “streak” challenge that nudges repeat visits without feeling gimmicky. Merchants get a lightweight dashboard showing repeat rate, cross-shop referrals, and which rewards actually move behavior. It’s realistic because it doesn’t require deep POS integrations at first—just QR codes and manual receipt entry as a fallback. The product lives or dies on merchant density in a small area, so it’s designed to launch block-by-block with local associations and chambers of commerce.
