LocalLift

LocalLift is a web + mobile app that helps cities, NGOs, and anchor institutions (universities, hospitals, large employers) measure and increase inclusive local economic impact. It connects procurement and vendor data to a simple “local inclusion score” showing how much spend reaches small, minority-owned, women-owned, and neighborhood-based businesses. Vendors get a lightweight onboarding flow to verify ownership, location, and workforce basics, then receive bid alerts and micro-training on compliance paperwork. Buyers get dashboards, supplier discovery, and reporting exports for grant requirements. This is not a magic growth engine: it’s a practical compliance-and-visibility tool that reduces the friction that keeps inclusive procurement programs from working. The MVP focuses on one city/anchor, one spend category, and clear reporting so stakeholders can defend budgets with evidence.
