LODGuard
LODGuard is a desktop app (with optional web dashboard) that audits real-time 3D environments and flags the exact assets and settings that cause frame drops, stutters, and memory spikes. You import a Unity/Unreal build, a glTF scene, or a recorded gameplay capture; LODGuard runs repeatable benchmarks, then produces a prioritized “fix list” (too many draw calls, overdraw hotspots, oversized textures, missing LODs, bad lightmap density, shader variants explosion). It also generates safe, reversible optimization patches: auto-LOD suggestions, texture downscale proposals, mesh decimation targets, and streaming budgets—without pretending it can magically optimize everything. The goal is to save teams days of guesswork and endless profiler screenshots by turning performance work into a clear checklist with measurable before/after results. It’s not a replacement for engine profilers; it’s a workflow layer that makes them actionable and shareable.
