LogLens

LogLens is a web app (with optional CLI) that sits on top of your existing logging stack and makes incident-time log exploration faster and less error-prone. Instead of replacing Datadog, Splunk, or Elasticsearch, it connects to them and builds a lightweight “incident workspace” where engineers can paste an error, request ID, or stack trace and instantly get suggested queries, correlated time windows, and the most likely upstream/downstream services involved. It also detects common logging footguns (missing request IDs, inconsistent fields, noisy log levels) and generates a weekly report with concrete fixes and PR-ready config snippets. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps translate natural language into safe, scoped queries and summarizes findings, while deterministic rules enforce guardrails and repeatability. The goal is fewer Slack scrolls, fewer blind grep attempts, and faster root-cause isolation without forcing a platform migration.
