LoopClosure
LoopClosure is a desktop + web app for robotics teams to automatically detect and explain SLAM failure modes from recorded sensor logs (ROS bag, MCAP). You upload a run, select your SLAM stack (e.g., ORB-SLAM3, RTAB-Map, Cartographer), and the app generates a “health report”: loop-closure confidence drops, map inconsistency hotspots, time-sync issues, IMU bias drift indicators, and suspected dynamic-object contamination. It then correlates these with environment context (feature-poor corridors, glass, repetitive textures) and suggests concrete fixes (parameter ranges, sensor placement checks, data-collection do’s/don’ts). This is not a magic SLAM solver; it’s a debugging and QA tool that saves engineers from days of manual plotting in RViz, rqt, and custom scripts. Reports are shareable, comparable across builds, and track regressions over time.
