LoopLedger

LoopLedger is a desktop app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that manages sample provenance and clearance for producers. It scans your DAW project exports and sample folders, fingerprints audio, and builds a “chain of custody” timeline: where each sample came from, what edits were applied, and whether it matches known libraries or your own recordings. When it detects a likely third‑party source, it flags risk, suggests replacement options from your licensed packs, and generates a clearance checklist plus split-sheet templates. This is not a magic “lawsuit-proof” tool; it’s a practical workflow system that reduces accidental infringement and the chaos of missing session notes. It targets working musicians who want to release more often without getting stuck in admin. The AI component is limited to similarity detection and metadata suggestions, not generative music.
