LoopLedger
LoopLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for small-to-mid manufacturers and warehouses to track waste, scrap, and rework in near-real time and close the feedback loop to the shop floor. Users log waste events via QR codes at bins/lines, attach photos, and tag root-cause categories (setup error, supplier defect, overproduction, damage). The app converts messy entries into a simple “waste P&L” and a ranked list of top drivers by cost, frequency, and line. It then pushes weekly feedback reports to supervisors with recommended countermeasures and a short action log to verify if changes actually reduced waste. It also exports audit-ready summaries for ISO 14001/ESG questionnaires. This is not a feel-good carbon tracker; it’s a pragmatic operational tool that ties sustainability to money, making it harder to ignore and easier to act on.
