LootCheck is a web + mobile AI-assisted due-diligence app for antiquities buyers and sellers. Users enter an object description, upload photos, and paste any provenance text; the app generates a structured “risk report” highlighting missing ownership gaps, suspicious phrasing, conflict-region indicators, and likely category-specific legal/ethical concerns. It also guides users through a practical checklist (export permits, prior publications, collection history) and produces a shareable PDF for insurers, auction houses, or compliance teams. This is not an authenticity app and it won’t magically “prove” legality; it’s a decision-support tool that helps people avoid obvious mistakes and document what they checked. The MVP focuses on a few high-risk categories (coins, Near Eastern artifacts, Egyptian antiquities) and a small set of jurisdictions, then expands. Monetization: per-report fees and a subscription for dealers.
