LoreLint
LoreLint is a web app (with optional desktop companion) for world-builders who keep losing track of their own canon. You paste or import notes (Google Docs, Markdown, Scrivener exports), then run “consistency checks” across characters, timelines, geography, magic rules, factions, and terminology. It flags contradictions (e.g., a city changing location, a character’s age not matching the timeline, a spell breaking your own rules) and generates a compact “canon report” you can share with collaborators or editors. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI proposes issues and links to the exact source passages, while traditional structured fields let you confirm what’s truly canon. It’s not a full writing tool; it’s a QA layer for your universe. Expect some false positives—users must approve changes—but it saves hours of manual cross-checking and reduces embarrassing continuity errors.
