LoreLoop is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that tracks the lifecycle of a viral claim, meme, or cultural moment as it jumps between TikTok, X, Reddit, YouTube, and news sites. It builds a timeline of “versions” of the same idea: original post, remixes, quote-tweets, stitched videos, screenshots, and headline rewrites. Users can follow a topic, see the key inflection points where meaning changed, and get a concise summary of what’s actually being repeated versus what’s new. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional ingestion, search, and timelines; AI for clustering near-duplicates, extracting claims, and generating neutral summaries with citations. The product is bluntly aimed at reducing confusion and saving time, not “predicting the next big thing.” It’s most useful for people who need to explain culture, not just consume it.
