LotBeacon

LotBeacon is a mobile app that helps drivers navigate the last 300 meters: parking garages, stadium lots, airports, malls, and hospitals—where Google/Apple Maps often stop being useful. The app guides you to open sections, remembers exactly where you parked, and then walks you back with an indoor/outdoor “breadcrumb” route that works even when GPS is weak. It uses phone sensors (compass, accelerometer) plus optional QR/NFC markers that venues can place cheaply on pillars or stairwells for high-accuracy positioning. Users can share a “meet me here” pin that’s tied to a specific entrance, level, and row, not just a vague map dot. Monetization is realistic: consumer freemium (parking save + return), plus a venue dashboard add-on for airports/arenas to reduce late arrivals and customer frustration.
