LotGuard is a web + mobile companion for serious art buyers that turns messy auction research into a disciplined, repeatable workflow. It aggregates public auction listings and lets you build a “bid dossier” per lot: condition notes, comparable sales, shipping/tax/fees, currency conversion, and a hard max-bid that locks before the auction starts. The app then monitors schedule changes, last-minute catalog updates, and price movements in comparable works, pushing alerts only when something materially changes. An AI layer can summarize long condition reports, flag suspicious gaps (missing provenance years, inconsistent dimensions, edition mismatches), and generate a one-page brief you can share with an advisor. This is not a magical authenticity detector; it’s a practical decision-control tool that reduces expensive, emotional bidding errors and post-sale regret.
