LotPulse is a mobile + web app that shows real-time park-and-ride lot occupancy and predicts whether you’ll find a spot when you arrive. It combines three signals: agency-provided feeds (when available), low-cost computer-vision counts from existing lot cameras, and anonymous device-level crowd estimates to fill gaps. Riders get a simple “Go / Risky / Full” status, best arrival window, and suggested backup lots with transit departure times. Agencies and lot operators get a lightweight dashboard to monitor utilization, identify overflow patterns, and trigger alerts (e.g., message signs, push notifications) when lots are nearing capacity. This is not a flashy consumer app; it’s a practical utility that reduces wasted trips, late arrivals, and neighborhood spillover parking. The business model is B2B: sell to transit agencies/municipalities as an operations and rider-satisfaction tool, with optional sponsorship for riders.
