LotShield

LotShield is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps park-and-ride commuters document their vehicle’s condition and location in under 60 seconds, then guides them back with precise wayfinding. The app creates a time-stamped “parking proof” package: photos, a short walkaround video, GPS coordinates, and optional notes (e.g., existing dents). If an incident happens, users can export a single shareable report for insurance, transit security, or property management. The web dashboard lets transit agencies or lot operators post safety alerts, camera coverage maps, and incident-report instructions—without pretending to be a full security system. This is not glamorous, but it targets a real anxiety: leaving a car unattended for hours in large, confusing lots. The app is designed to be fast, low-friction, and useful even if the operator does nothing.
