LunchLink

LunchLink is a mobile + web app that helps coworkers build genuine workplace friendships through lightweight, opt-in meetups that don’t feel like forced HR “culture.” Employees set simple preferences (diet, budget, conversation topics, introvert/extrovert, meeting style) and availability. The app creates small-group lunch or coffee matches (2–4 people) across teams and levels, with clear boundaries: no manager-direct report pairing by default, no performance data, and no public popularity metrics. It offers conversation prompts, a one-tap “reschedule” option, and a private feedback loop to improve future matches without awkwardness. For companies, it provides anonymized insights like participation rate and cross-team connection coverage—nothing that can be used to evaluate individuals. The goal is to reduce isolation, improve retention, and make hybrid work less lonely without turning friendship into a KPI.
