LuxeLedger is a mobile + web AI app that helps shoppers and resale buyers validate sustainability claims for luxury fashion items at the point of purchase. Scan a barcode/QR, upload a listing screenshot, or paste a product URL; the app pulls brand disclosures, public certifications, material composition, supplier/region risk signals, and resale-market data to generate a simple “Confidence Score” with citations. It also flags common greenwashing patterns (vague “eco” language, missing audit dates, unverifiable certifications) and suggests better alternatives within the same style/price band. For resale, it can attach a lightweight “sustainability dossier” to listings to increase buyer trust and reduce returns. This is not a perfect truth machine—data gaps are common—so the product is designed to be transparent about uncertainty and show exactly what it can and cannot verify.
