Users scan a product’s QR/barcode and packaging details, then the app checks brand-authorized registries (when available) and flags common counterfeit signals (batch/lot anomalies, mismatched packaging, suspicious seller patterns). It also runs a structured routine tracker with standardized photo capture and lighting guidance, then summarizes changes over time (hydration, redness, texture) with clear confidence limits—no miracle claims. The app focuses on high-ticket items where counterfeits and “I’m not sure it did anything” are common. Revenue comes from a premium subscription plus optional brand partnerships for verified registry access and post-purchase care programs. The product is intentionally conservative: it reduces risk and buyer’s remorse rather than pretending to be a dermatologist.
