LuxeTrace is a mobile + web AI-assisted pre-purchase verification app for luxury handbags, watches, and sneakers. Users upload listing photos (or paste a marketplace link), and the app guides them through a structured capture flow: serials, stitching, hardware engravings, date codes, movement shots, and packaging. The AI flags inconsistencies, compares against known reference patterns, and produces a risk score with plain-English reasons. For higher-value items, users can pay for an expert escalation where a vetted authenticator reviews the same evidence and issues a signed report. The app also stores a “verification dossier” that can be shared with sellers, payment disputes, or resale listings. This is not magic: it won’t guarantee authenticity without proper images, but it dramatically reduces obvious scams and helps buyers ask the right questions before sending money.
