MacroReceipt

MacroReceipt is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that turns grocery and restaurant receipts into a usable macro plan. Instead of pretending you can perfectly track every bite, it focuses on what you actually buy and order. Users scan or forward receipts; the app parses items, estimates nutrition using a product database, and allocates macros across the week with confidence ranges (not fake precision). It flags “macro landmines” (high-calorie add-ons, sauces, drinks) and suggests swaps that keep the same meal pattern. For restaurants, it uses menu lookups when available and falls back to best-fit estimates. The goal isn’t bodybuilding-level accuracy; it’s consistent, low-friction adherence for normal people. It supports targets (cut/maintain/bulk), weekly macro budgeting, and simple progress check-ins tied to weight trend and hunger ratings.
