MajlisMap is a mobile + web app that helps Shia Muslims discover nearby majalis, lectures, community events, and prayer times with reliable, verified listings. The core problem today is fragmentation: events are scattered across WhatsApp groups, flyers, and inconsistent Facebook pages, making it hard for newcomers, students, and families to participate. MajlisMap offers a clean directory with location, language, speaker, topic tags, accessibility info, childcare availability, and livestream links. Centers and organizers get a simple dashboard to post events, manage recurring programs (Muharram, Ramadan, weekly nights), and push updates when schedules change. Verification is handled via center ownership checks and community reporting to reduce spam and misinformation. Monetization is realistic: freemium for centers (basic listings free, paid for featured placement, analytics, and SMS alerts) plus optional donations and sponsorships during peak seasons.
