MandateMap

MandateMap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps federal, state, and local agencies manage intergovernmental obligations: MOUs, funding conditions, reporting mandates, data-sharing agreements, and statutory deadlines. It centralizes who owes what to whom, by when, with the underlying authority attached (law, grant clause, executive order, contract). The product is intentionally unglamorous: a structured registry, reminders, and audit-ready evidence trails that reduce missed deadlines and “we didn’t know” failures. An AI layer can auto-extract key fields from PDFs and emails (parties, dates, deliverables, penalties) and suggest owners, but humans approve everything. This is not a public-facing civic app; it’s internal operations software built for compliance and coordination. Expect slow procurement cycles and heavy security requirements, but also high retention once embedded.
