MandateMap

MandateMap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for state and local agencies managing responsibilities devolved from higher levels of government. It centralizes mandates, delegated authorities, funding conditions, reporting deadlines, and audit requirements into a single, searchable register. Agencies can assign owners, attach source documents (statutes, MOUs, grant terms), map each obligation to programs and budgets, and generate evidence packs for auditors and legislative oversight. A lightweight AI layer can extract key obligations and dates from PDFs and emails, but the product is designed to work even when AI extraction is imperfect. The goal is not policy analysis; it’s operational control: fewer missed deadlines, fewer compliance surprises, and clearer accountability when responsibilities shift. Expect a slow, procurement-heavy sales cycle, but once embedded, switching costs are real because the app becomes the system of record for devolved obligations.
