MantraMeter

MantraMeter is a mobile + web AI-assisted chanting coach for Hindu education. Users pick a mantra or shloka set (Gayana, Vishnu Sahasranama excerpts, Gita verses, common stotras), listen to a reference recitation, then record their own. The app scores key pronunciation markers (vowel length, retroflex vs dental consonants, nasalization, cadence) and highlights where they drifted from the target. It also teaches meaning and context in short, non-preachy lessons: deity/author, meter basics, and when it’s traditionally recited. For teachers, it provides simple class assignments and progress tracking without needing a full LMS. This is realistic because it focuses on a narrow, measurable skill—recitation accuracy—rather than trying to “teach all of Hinduism.” Monetization is subscription plus teacher plans; content can start small and expand.
